National Coming Out Day Panel Discussion

Thursday, October 11 at 8 p.m. in KC 101

National Coming Out Day is a great opportunity to come out if you're queer, or to come out as a straight ally or educate yourself on queer issues. This year, PRIDE is hosting a Coming Out Day panel discussion, where you can hear the stories of other students who have come out and ask questions or talk abut your own experiences.

AIDS Walk

Saturday, October 13

Each year we join with the AIDS Resource Group of Evansville and other local organizations to support their work and raise awareness of HIV/AIDS. Show up early and peruse the tables set up by area organizations, listen to the live music, and check out panels of the AIDS quilt that will be on display. Registration sheets will available in the TSA newsletters outside our advisor's office.

Movie Night and Discussion

For our weekly meeting, we will watch the movie Camp and afterward discuss the issues and challenges that the characters faced.

Jeans Day

Jeans day is to show people that we support and accept the diversity of others and give people control over their lives, if only for one day.
